Deggial es un espíritu maligno en el folklore árabe.
Figura en la leyenda de «Simbad el Marino», donde se cita la solitaria isla donde habita. También se le menciona en «Vathek: An Arabian Tale», de William Beckford: «Helados por el terror, llegamos a la conclusión de que el Deggial, con sus ángeles exterminadores, había enviado sus plagas sobre la tierra».
